Workers' Compensation Law Attorney

Daniel L. Maisel focuses his practice on representing injured workers in complex workers’ compensation claims. He counsels and fights against insurers, employers, and third-party administrators for temporary disability, medical treatment, and permanent injury awards.

He participates in all stages of workers’ compensation litigation from inception to appeal and draws on more than 25 years of experience with workers’ compensation actions in vicinages throughout the state of New Jersey. He is well experienced in Total Disability Claims, The Second Injury Fund, and Social Security/Medicare Compliance issues.

Dan’s civil litigation experience also includes prosecution and defense of personal injury and construction litigation matters, Jury Trials, conducting all facets of discovery, researching and drafting motion briefs, appellate briefs, and other legal memoranda, drafting and filing pleadings, and representing clients in court and at depositions.

Before joining private practice, Dan served as an assistant prosecutor in the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and was a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Julius A. Feinberg of the Superior Court, State of New Jersey in Essex County.
